LADDER MOUSE LETTER
ARCHIVAL PRINT OF AN ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR
Oh, the elusive queen of mushrooms...fondly known as the Amanita Muscaria, the Fly Agaric, the classic Toadstool. This bright red mushroom captivates from far away when you see her poking up from a mossy green forest just like a ripe cherry tomato. She's only for gazing upon and not for eating - but how captivating she is, nonetheless! She is my favorite mushroom of them all, the one that first captured my heart in the fungi kingdom. She wears bright red lipstick and plays hard to get.
The original watercolor illustration the print is based on was painted by the Ladder Mouse herself, artist Brandy Klindworth. The final piece is an archival digital print reproduction of the original painting, printed with dye-based ink and packaged in the Ladder Mouse studio. The print arrives hand-signed by the artist.
The print is made on luxurious, 100% cotton rag paper allowing the colors to rest beautifully on the page, a striking resemblance to the original painting.
PERFECT FOR A GLASS-TO-GLASS FLOATING FRAME
The one-of-a-kind hand-torn deckled edge details add so much beautiful character you will want to display them as much as the art itself! Ladder Mouse recommends displaying deckled-edge prints in glass-to-glass floating frames to show off the beautiful hand-torn edges. (If not a floating frame, the deckled-edge prints also look stunning when framed against a darker mat board scaled a tad larger than the print!)
FOR LONG-TERM DISPLAY & ENJOYMENT
When displaying for long-term enjoyment, Ladder Mouse recommends keeping the print stored behind glass in a relatively dry, cool, clean, and stable environment. When storing for long-term nostalgia, Ladder Mouse recommends keeping the print stored flat between acid-free boards or paper in a relatively dry, cool, clean, and stable environment. It is recommended to avoid long-term direct sunlight, dirt, moisture, and humidity.
Approximately 8in x 10in / 20.32cm x 25.4cm - size will vary slightly with the unique hand-torn deckled edges.
Due to the varying nature of each hand-torn deckled edge, each piece will arrive unique and one-of-a-kind. Ladder Mouse strives to make the edges as visually pleasing as possible despite the unpredictable nature of the hand-torn edges.
